So in my mind, the difference between students who succeed in learning English and the students who don't succeed or don't achieve their goals in speaking English is pretty clear.
It's one main thing, and that is mindset. And what I mean by that is students who actually end up achieving their speaking goals and are able to speak fluently have a mindset of it's okay to make mistakes.
And what that really means is they have no fear of being uncomfortable or moving outside of their comfort zones. Okay.
Now, I know that in Japan, as in many Asian cultures, it's almost like taboo to make mistakes in public. Or you might feel ashamed or you might feel uncomfortable. Right.
To to go out there and be unsure of yourself, but still try and speak anyway.
And unfortunately, that's exactly what you have to do if you want to, you know, improve your speaking ability.
So the reason that this is so important is you're never going to be perfect. There's never a perfect time to start trying to speak, you know, to native English speakers or to, you know, those other people in your life who speak English.
So the most important thing is that you take a deep breath. You don't know what's going to happen, but you try speaking anyway. If you can get past this line, you can, you know, move outside of your box of comfort and just take that risk.
The whole world will open up for you. Okay. So, again, if you stay closed off right in your safe bubble and just do grammar and written exercises.
Right. If you don't challenge yourself, if you don't actively try and look for opportunities to speak. I mean, literally go after these opportunities, then you're limiting yourself. Okay.
So once again, just to recap the difference between students who succeed and don't succeed is that students who succeed in becoming fluent speakers, they're not afraid to make mistakes. They're not afraid to make mistakes.
And they're open minded in terms of going out and pursuing opportunities to speak. Students who don't succeed, they play it safe. They stay inside their little closed box and they don't want to challenge themselves. So be this kind of student, not this kind of student.
And what makes SSX such a unique program that's unlike any others that you've ever encountered before? It is that SRS is actually gives you the opportunity to speak and make mistakes within this safe space between just you and your teacher.
So you'll actually be speaking and using the grammar that you already know. Right. That's the beauty of the program, is that you're not just learning grammar, memorizing vocabulary.
You'll be forced to use it, but in a safe space, one on one with you and your teacher. So you're getting all the benefits without going out in the world.
And you know, being, like, scared to talk to strangers and being in situations where you feel like you're under pressure in a nice, relaxed environment. You're going to be able to practice your grammar, practice your sentences, create your own sentences.
Right. And then have your teacher edit. Correct. Suggest how you can improve. And then you can practice it again until you get it perfectly.
So again, it's just like the perfect training environment that you actually need in order to improve your speaking ability that you don't get at any other school. That's one of the most unique benefits of SS.
And again, one of the reasons that, well, you can actually be this first successful student without having to go out and, you know, into the big, scary world and, you know, striking up conversations with strangers and stuff like that. So hope that helps.
